There are many ways in which those working in film and media production can support this effort. It can begin by contacting us to see what you can do as an individual or business. We can help you draft letters to your State Representative, State Senator, and Governor to start. Join us!

Once you have downloaded the template, please customize the letter as it best represents you as an individual, or your company. The TALKING POINTS page of this website may also provide useful language as you complete the letter. Please use your own personal or company letterhead, if appropriate.
Finally, you can find the names and addresses of your State Representative, State Senator, and Governor by going to the website HERE and entering your address, city, and zip code. We encourage mailing to all three!
REQUEST A MEETING
Legislators are happy to meet with constituents at the State House in Indianapolis, or in their individual districts. If you have not done this, it is a great exercise in democracy and a great way for you to get to know those men and women who serve you. You will find that they are open-minded and willing to hear your concerns. They also welcome small groups if you wanted to bring others from your district who will benefit. USE YOUR NETWORK
Each of us have a network of friends and acquaintances who may have influence in areas that we do not. We also have friends who will be interested in our story. Let's make sure that we let them know how a program like this will create positive change for our lives, businesses, and communities. Let's also actively share with businesses that send their media production work to vendors and locations outside of Indiana. Let's use our networks!
WRITE A LETTER OF INTENT
If you plan to make a documentary or fictional narrative feature film in Indiana in 2017 or 2018, let us know. If willing, please write a letter stating how the proposed tax credits will influence your decision. If you know of other producers who are considering Indiana for a feature film or significant amount of commercial production, please pass this on to them as well. We are building our dossier of letters to help our cause.
